STEEL CASED PILES/MINI PILING

Steel cased piles are bottom driven thin wall tubes. These are installed with using tracked piling rigs of various sizes or with a bespoke designed drop hammer rig for use within restricted height access areas such as inside buildings and boathouses.

An internal drop hammer is used to drive a dry concrete plug at the base of the pile. Loads of up to 500KN can be achieved by using a combination of driving "sets".

Small diameter steel cased piles have been proven to be cost effective on small projects throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and throughout the UK
